1. What does Probation do?: Our department is responsible for supervising compliance with the court's sentencing order. We supply information, referrals, assistance and supervision, so that clients can successfully meet their probation conditions. We also notify the court of any non-compliance through violation reports.

2. Where are you located?: We are located in the lower level of the Chisago County Government Center in Center City, MN in Suite 100.

3. Who is my Probation Officer?: If you are a juvenile or a parent/guardian of a juvenile on supervision, or an adult client ordered to Pretrial Supervision or sentenced to probation on a misdemeanor or gross misdemeanor offense please call 651-213-8350. If you are on supervision for a felony level offense please call 651-257-1234.

4. What is the Local Correctional Fee? Why do I need to pay it?: This fee is charged to persons under the supervision of our agency to help defray costs associated with monitoring / supervising your file.

5. Can I pay my Probation Fees with a credit card, debit card or electronic check?: Chisago County accepts payments for Probation Fees by credit card, debit card or electronic check for the following fees: - Domestic Abuse Investigation Fee - Driving With Care Fee - Intensive Supervision Fee - Local Correctional Fee - Pre Trial Fee - Testing Fee - UA Confirmation Fee Note: A 2.5% ($2.00 minimum) fee will be assessed for online payments. Also, you must enter your case number EXACTLY as it appears on your documents. You have the option of using the online link below for credit card, debit card or electronic check payments or you can also make a payment in person at our office with a credit card or debit card. 6. When paying Probation Fees, can I make a partial payment?: Yes, Chisago County Probation does accept partial payments to go towards your fee(s). Payments can be made in person, via mail,. We accept payments in the form of cash, check, money order, cashier's check, or credit/debit card.

7. Can I pay my Probation Program Fees over the phone?: No, Chisago County Probation does not accept payments over the phone. Payments can be made in person (cash, check, money order/cashier's check or credit/debit card), via mail (check or money order/cashier's check), or via online payment (credit/debit card or electronic check).

12. Is there a warrant out for me?: Contact Court Administration by calling 651-213-7010 or Email Court Administration, or contact the Sheriff's Office at 651-213-4100.

13. Can I get an extension on my fine?: Contact Court Administration, which is located on the top level of the Government Center in Room 358. Email Court Administration, or call 651-213-7010 for more information.

14. How can I request a different court date?: You must contact your attorney to request a new court date. If you are not represented you can contact Chisago County Court Administration at 651-213-7010 to make a request.
