Projects funded by SHIP in the community have included:

  • Fencing materials to allow for expansion of the Lindstrom Community Garden
  • Freezer merchandisers for the Family Pathways North Branch Food Shelf to expand the food shelf’s ability to provide fresh fruits and vegetables to clients
  • Pickleball equipment for Lent Town Hall, North Branch Community Education, and Rush City Community Education
  • Training for area youth to develop Improve performances to educate peers, community members, and policymakers about the harms of commercial tobacco and policy alternatives to prevent youth tobacco use
  • Water bottle-filling stations for Chisago Lakes Library, North Branch Community Education, North Branch Library, Rush City Library, Wyoming Library, North Branch City Hall, and Lindstrom City Hall to promote the consumption of water among residents and staff
